High School Sweethearts Say "I Do!"

High School Sweethearts.  It's a phrase that people recognize - but do they truly understand the meaning behind the love of two people that can last through the hardest years...the teenage years? Haleigh and Tyler are the epitome of what it takes to make a relationship work through those years!  Introducing...Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Goff!

Although these two JUST got married - it's important for me to recognize them, not as a family of two, but as a family of three!

The wedding party was ready for a good time - and they were prepared if anyone tried to stop them!  From the Divas to the Dudes - they all had a little bit of sass!

The first place that a couple meets always holds a certain amount of significance.  For Tyler and Haleigh, this was Streator High School.  Since I have a little bit of an "in" we were able to get into the school and snap some shots of the newly married couple in the hallways in which they first laid eyes on each other!

Wedding receptions are one of those events that bring families together.  From a cousin you haven't seen in years, to a college friend you haven't seen in months, it's always nice to see these people and share such a special event with one another.

Some of the closest bonds we share are with family - whether they are here with us on earth, or watching us from heaven.

Starved Rock is a well-known area when it comes to having a wedding.  Tyler and Haleigh had planned to join the list of many that have been married there.  One boating accident and a broken back later, and we have a wedding that was put on hold.  On Saturday, September 28, Tyler and Haleigh said I do in Florida.  If you ask me, Florida, with it's sandy beaches and warm weather, is the ideal place to hold any event!  A week after they tied the knot, I had the pleasure of capturing the memories at their reception.  From decorations to dancing, it truly was a hit!

When the DJ asks for all of the single individuals (men or women) to take the floor, there is always a bit of hesitation from those that are single.  This wedding was the opposite.  As you can see - many people were ready to fight for the bouquet and garter!

Life is full of moments that are meant to be treasured.  From your wedding day, to growing up in your family home, to hearing your best man dedicate an entire speech to you - cherish the moments that may be few and far between.

Congratulations to Tyler and Haleigh!  Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

Until next time...
