The Marin Family - Beautiful Children and Loving Parents

I’ve had the pleasure of having a couple photo sessions with the Ricardo Marin Family, but this time I was able to get almost the entire family together for a session.  This family has some of the most beautiful children in it I’ve ever seen!  Introducing - The Marin Family.

Of course the weather didn’t cooperate, so we took the pictures at The Silver Fox in Streator.  It’s such a beautiful building!  A little plug - if you are in need of a place for a bridal/baby shower, a birthday party, a company party, or a wedding reception - give them a call!

As the separate families trickled in, I took the opportunity to get some individual shots of each family.  They did a great job for me as we worked quickly!

The kids absolutely loved the building!  From the pool table to the piano, they had plenty to keep themselves entertained and we used them as incentives to get them to smile for the camera!  Seriously - look at how stunning these children are!

It was very obvious that each grandchild loved grandma and grandpa!  I love this one with Westin and the similar expression that each of them has.

Yes!  In the middle of pictures Lennox decided to fall asleep!

When you get a large group together of any kind, sometimes it can be pure chaos!  Once everyone had arrived and the kids knew what was expected of them, things went flawlessly.  I was able to capture some candid shots as the family played together.  I grew up very close with my cousins and I don’t think there is anything more special in the world than the bond between cousins!

I enjoyed seeing the love within this family.  With everyone that was there, I felt a sense of pride from each person!  Thank you Marin Family!

Until next time…

The Ludkowski Family + One = 4

I know that I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again…I love pregnant people!  I think they’re absolutely adorable!  I remember being pregnant and hearing people tell me that I looked “cute.”  I also remember feeling anything but “cute.”  Shaina - is cute!

We started out at her house with the hopes of getting some pictures with the soon-to-be big brother, but he really wasn’t interested!  We were able to snap a couple before he went diving into the snow.  Clearly, playing in the snow is much more fun than posing for a photo!

Mikey felt about the same way Logan did, but he was less vocal about it and cooperated!  Most men dislike having their picture taken, but Mike truly does take it like a champ.

Shaina.  Is.  Adorable.  From her little baby bump to her constant smile, I love the energy when I have these photo shoots with her family.  She doesn’t let anything fluster her and she is so go-with-the-flow that I think she would have climbed a tree if I would’ve asked her to.  When I asked her to take her shoes off in the mound of snow, I know she thought I was crazy, but she went along with it anyway!

Shaina and Mikey are about to welcome a little girl named Chloe.  A big brother, a little girl, and two loving parents.  That’s what I consider to be the perfect, All-American family.  I can’t wait to welcome little Chloe and I wish Shaina (and dad and big brother) all of the best as the time quickly approaches!

Declin - 6 Months - Steals the Show!

Declin - The minute he walked in the door (or was carried in the door) he had a smile that went on for miles.  The smile rarely left his face, and if it did, it was so he could pucker up his lips or give us a death stare as he constantly had to have his clothes changed for the pictures.

Clearly, this handsome little gentlemen (not to be cheesy) is a great catch.  He turned on the charm for the 3 ladies that brought him to his session!  Alyssa, Declin’s mother, plays the mother role very well.  She was patient and prepared.  She was loving and calm.  Because of that the photo session went flawlessly.

There were many things that Alyssa brought for the session. One of my favorite shots I got is of his little booty in the cowboy hat!  I cannot wait until he’s 16 and his mother is showing this picture to his girlfriend!

Another thing that I absolutely loved was the fact that he had some Baby J’s!  What little boy doesn’t look absolutely adorable in a pair of Jordan’s.  At 6-months-old, we all know that babies don’t really wear shoes.  They fit him well, he was intrigued, and they made him stylish!

In this next shot I absolutely LOVE Declin’s face.  Throughout the shoot he would pucker his lips, scrunch his face, smile, and then go on his way!  This picture cracks me up!

Clearly, this little one is a heart-stopper.  From his personality, to his lips, to his beautiful eyes, I have no doubts that his parents will have their hands full in the very near future!  Thank you, Alyssa, for allowing me to take pictures of your handsome little man!  Be sure you tell daddy that I didn’t take a picture with him in a pink bow, even though he would’ve looked adorable!
