The Lepper Family Introduces - Rhett Jacob!

WOW!  That is all I can say when I look back at this photo session.  I have known Rhia since High School.  We cheered together and she was always one of my favorites.  She was kind and sweet and she truly cared about other people.  Seeing her as a mother, I can see that not much has changed!  Jake is just the same!  This family of four was beyond adorable!  Big sister Raegan introduces her little brother - Rhett!

This rocking chair was used by Rhia's mother to rock her and her brother.

The first few minutes of this session Rhett made it very clear that he was not interested in pictures, but he wanted food instead!  He was vocal about it, so Rhia had no choice but to grant him his wish!  That gave me a little time to run around with Raegan.  She is stunningly gorgeous and innocently sweet.

Throughout the entire photo shoot Rhia and Jake seemed surprised that Raegan was behaving so well.  Well - when you have two great parents, usually the kids follow in those footsteps.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!  She was so sweet with Rhett!

Now Rhett - once he was fed - he was good!  We moved him all around and he didn't make a peep!  He was along for the ride!  My favorite part about this entire photo shoot was what Jake and Rhia brought as props.  With girls, you put a bow on their head and call them adorable!  With boys - you can't do that!   Jake brought so many things that were meaningful to him that it truly made this session that much more special!

The gear is absolutely one of my favorite items that Jake brought!

The patch from Jake's Grandpa, and an old football from High School!

Jakes old Baseball Gear

I know I already said it, but I LOVE this family.  I so much enjoy seeing a family in love and that's exactly what the Lepper family is.  THANK YOU, Rhia and Jake, for affording me this opportunity!

You will notice only a slight difference between these two pictures.  In the 2nd picture, I love that Rhett is wanting a GOOD kiss!

Mallory is Headed to Kindergarten!

I remember the anxiety I had when Ella went to Kindergarten.  Those that know me know that I cried for weeks.  SHE was fine...I was a mess!  I hope that Kyle and Emily aren't such a mess as their newly turned 5-year-old, Mallory, is headed to Kindergarten!

Mallory is sweet and quiet.  She is a typical 5-year-old girly girl that likes to wear dresses and twirl in circles.  She is also a typical 5-year-old in that she wants to make mommy and daddy happy.  I remember Mallory when she was 3.   She would sit patiently at Sunday School and she was so sweet!

I can't believe how much she has grown in what seems like such a short amount of time.  While still sweet, it's very obvious that she is starting to have an adorable personality.  I have no doubts that she will have many friends when she heads off to school.  She will be that girl that everyone wants to be friends with.  Like my Ella, she will have a social calendar that her parents will struggle to keep up with!

She gets all of these traits from her mom and dad who are also two of the kindest people I've met.  The family is one that has a huge heart!  I wish Mallory nothing but the best as she ventures into Kindergarten!  I know she'll do great!

Brinley Brags About Being ONE - And Brother Beckett Helps Her!

Little Brinley turned one just about a week ago!  I had the honor of working with Brinley and her brother.  The two together were almost too much cuteness to handle!

About 6 months ago I had Brinley over for her first session with me and I couldn't contain my excitement for how adorable she was.  She has got the most beautiful blue eyes.  Her smile, from ear to ear, melts my heart.  And I noticed during this shoot that she has a new look - the scrunch face as I used to call it with my kids!

We decided just to walk around downtown for this session.  Brinley's mommy had picked out some adorable outfits!  No matter where we went, Brinley was content.  AND....no matter where we went, Brinley would find a rock (or dirt or wrapper or something)....to try and eat!  Her mom and dad were quick to stop her!

Now, as if Brinley wasn't cute enough on her own, you throw in Beckett and it's a session full of beautiful/handsome smiles and brotherly/sisterly love!  Beckett was fortunate enough to go see the Monster Trucks after our session because he was so well-behaved!

The session went as well as it could have.  The kids were cooperative.  Mindy and Keith came prepared.  And I was able to capture the true personalities of them both!

Until next time...
