The picture above can be deceiving. They look like the perfect family with few to no faults - don't they? Throw a 4-year-old into the mix and things can get quite interesting. Same picture...minor difference...
This entire session was one that made me smile, giggle, and laugh out loud. Emily and Kyle are two very laid back individuals. Rarely, if ever, have I seen them get upset over anything. They just let things roll and take them as they come. When taking pictures, these are the best kind of people to have!
Aidan, Nolan, and Mallory are three kids who are very well-mannered and polite. When Ella started Sunday School about 3 years ago, I was relieved to know that Emily and Kyle would be her teachers. Now, yes, I said they were well-mannered. BUT, they're also kids. They're kids that gave me a great amount of sass and humor when asking them to pose. The three of them together were a riot!
Emily is a mother of three with a full time job, and she's currently pursuing a Master's Degree. Kyle, who once took on the demanding task of being a stay-at-home father, is now working and developing quite a business for himself. What's admirable is that even with all of that on their plates - they still make their children a priority.
I love the message that Emily and Kyle send to others. You can have a job, be a great parent, have faith, and still make time to love one another. I don't think there is any greater message to teach to the world, but most importantly, to teach to your children.
Until next time...
