A Brother and Sister's Love

I met Hope and Griffin in 2005 when I took my first teaching job at Henry-Senachwine High School.  Their mother, Rita, was my mentor and is now a very close friend.  When I first met them they were little and I remember always thinking to myself that they were absolutely adorable.  As you can see, they've continued to grow into beautiful/handsome children.

When I first met Hope, she was about 2 years old.  Rita used to coach the Dance Team and I coached Cheerleading so we spent a lot of time together between practices and games.  She always had the kids with her and Hope was always such a beautiful, outgoing, and vibrant little girl.  

Griffin was on-the-go a little more than Hope was.  He was always running around with his friends at the games and looking up to his dad, Steve, who was the coach of the Mallards.  

As the two of them have grown older, they've become interested in many things.  I've always looked up to their mother because she can do it all.  She's by far one of the most dedicated and committed teachers I've ever met.  Any student that has ever had her would agree with me.  Her calendar is always full, as is her husband's, and they've instilled this same drive into their children.   

I hesitate to include these next images because Griffin is wearing a Cardinal's jersey.  For the sake of his handsomeness, I'll put my prejudices aside.  

As I've said, I knew these two very well when they were little.  I taught in Henry for 3 years and became very close to their family.  I left Henry in 2008 and although I stay in touch and still get over there to see them - I'm not able to watch them grow up as much as I may like.  SO, I had to ask Rita how they got along when I was asked to take their pictures.  She said it's hit or miss.  Sometimes they bicker and sometimes they get along.  I think it's safe to say that any brother/sister relationship is like that.  

It was GREAT to be able to take these pictures.  I got to spend time with the kids and with Rita which was awesome!  You can see in these pictures the personalities of two adorable children.  Hope was able to show me a sassiness that is nothing but awesome when a photographer is taking pictures!  Griffin was a normal boy and did what I asked him to do - but as you can see - he's got a smile that is simply handsome.

Marin Family Session

There are few things I love more than listening to a toddler speak and watching their endless energy.  I also love watching the sweet innocence of a newborn baby!  Add two parents that have an obvious love for their children and I am one smitten photographer!

The man of the hour, Lennox, is absolutely ADORABLE!  After downloading the pictures I noticed something about him - his hands were always in fists.  I think this means that he's willing to do what needs to be done to take care of business!  He fits well into this family!

Don't let the constant fists intimidate you though!  He does have a softer, sweeter side and I caught that while he was snoozing after a few ounces!  He's so angelic and his features are perfect.  

The name Lennox represents an individual that easily attracts attention from others.  I would say he is definitely living up to his name!

3-Year old Westin attends daycare with my little boy and he is always a riot!  He's very well-behaved every time I see him!  Even during this lengthy photo session he did a great job keeping himself entertained.  Ironman was his favorite!

 He's always a well-dressed man and his eyes could melt anyone's heart!

If you have children, and more importantly if you have multiple children, you know that tension often be seen between them!  Westin's love and admiration of his brother were very obvious!  

Westin never got angry when the attention was on Lennox and Lennox never cried when Westin wanted to give him kisses or hugs.  It's very clear that these two are going to grow up to be the best of friends and wingmen to one another!  

I've known Brooke and Ricardo for years.  I see their personalities in their children - carefree, fun-loving, and outgoing.  

From tiny little fingers to tiny little toes....

It's very clear that this family is in love!

My New Hobby ... Tiffany Park Photography

Summer is a great time for me to spend time with my children and do things I can't normally do during the school year.  This summer I found myself needing a hobby to keep me busy, so I thought I'd try photography.  I've had a few friends willing to be my guinea pigs, but my first official Blog from Tiffany Park Photography will feature my favorite soon-to-be 3-Year-Old, Tyler!  

As you can tell, he is full of personality!  This is just one of his many favorite things - sassiness! Keep reading for his other favorites this year!

To say "Toy Story" is a favorite of Tyler's would be an understatement.  The movie plays continuously in our house and there is nobody he would rather have in this picture than his best friend, Woody!

Baseball, baseball, and more baseball!  What's even more impressive is his ability to hit the ball!  

There is no getting out of being a Sox fan with the Park family!  Tyler cheers them on and sports their gear any chance he gets!  

When it's not baseball season, Tyler loves to cheer on the Bulldogs during basketball season.  He enjoys watching his daddy coach and he loves his best friend, Bone Doty!  If there is a sport happening around him, he is watching, cheering, and wanting to play!

Trucks and sirens are some more of Tyler's favorite things.  He likes to watch the firetrucks go by and he loves impersonating the sirens!  

Above all - Tyler's MOST FAVORITE thing is his daddy!  He loves to visit him at work and looks up to him for many different reasons!  It was only fitting to end the photo shoot at the fire station!  

I hope to make this photography thing a full-time hobby!  I love to take pictures of toddlers because they have so many different personalities within such a short amount of time!  I love to capture the love of a family, and the precious features of newborns!  Thank you for reading as I get started on a new journey - Tiffany Park Photography!
